Check it out! 1st Annual US IETA meeting held in Longmont, Colorado The US Chapter of the International Equine Touch Association held its first annual meeting November 3 & 4, 2006 in Longmont, Colorado. A Board of Directors and Officers were elected, and the groundwork was laid for getting the US Chapter up and running. The Equine Touch nearing full Accreditation in the UK Full accreditation of The Equine Touch in the UK is almost complete, with 2 of the 4 stages registered. The UK qualifications carry international recognition and mark the first time a recognized standard has been developed for an equine bodywork discipline anywhere in the world. The unification of Equine Touch standards of instruction in UK, USA, Scandinavia, Europe, Africa, Australia and New Zealand represents an exciting future for all who teach and practice Equine Touch. This formal endorsement of the standard through various UK government agencies will have a positive impact on opening closed doors in other areas around the world.
